BLUE VALLEY ALERTS!
A SERVICE TO OUR COMMUNITY TO PROVIDE EMERGENCY INFORMATION
In an effort to enhance our current communication efforts, the Blue Valley School District invites all interested parents and staff to sign up for BLUE VALLEY ALERTS!, a free* emergency alert service which will be used to notify staff and parents in the event of an emergency. Participants may choose to receive notification in the form of text messages, e-mails and/or voice alert. To sign up, just complete the easy, two-step process below and select the building(s) from which you wish to receive notification.
  • To sign up for text message notification, please enter your name and mobile number where indicated. Be sure to select your carrier.  If you wish to receive a voice alert in addition to a text alert (at the same phone number), please check "Allow Voice Calls."
  • To sign up for voice alert notification only and not text messaging, please enter your name and the phone number(s) in the Home and/or Office field.  You will also need to enter an e-mail address to receive the necessary authorization code.
  • To sign up for e-mail notification, enter your name and valid e-mail address in the space provided.
  • You may choose any one method of notification or all three.
  • After you choose your method of notification, please select the      school(s) from which you wish to receive emergency messages.

*If you choose to select text as your primary method of notification, please check your cell phone plan for any text message fees your wireless provider may charge. This is a SPAM-free application and your name and personal contact information are private and will remain protected. 1Step 1: Sign-Up - Test your phone

Please complete the information below. Enter your mobile phone number and select your wireless carrier. You can also receive email messages, to do so, simply enter your email address. Please provide either a mobile phone number or an email address, or both. You may provide additional phone numbers for voice messages.

In the next step of the sign up process, we will send a personal authorization code to your mobile phone or email address. You will need to enter the code in the next screen within (5) minutes in order to verify and complete your enrollment in the system.

Important: Our systems are tested for performance and reliability on a frequent basis. However, normal network transmission limitations can occur from time-to-time and may cause delays in the receipt of messages.
