Sign-up is fast and easy! In Step 1 below, enter your mobile contact information and select the information categories you want to receive. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click on "CONTINUE".

In Step 2, a 5-digit authorization code will be sent to your mobile device as a text message. Enter this code online to complete the sign-up process. (If you are signing up for email only, the code will be sent to your email address.)

NOTE: The school closing alerts program is a free service provided by RI Broadcasters Association and local media partners. The service is FCC CAN-SPAM compliant and your information will be kept private. You may change your message preferences or un-subscribe at any time by clicking on the link below. Check your wireless provider for any text messages fees they may charge, message and data rates may apply.


1Step 1: Sign-Up - Test your phone

In the next step of the sign up process, we will send a personal authorization code to your mobile phone or email address. You will need to enter the code in the next screen within (5) minutes in order to verify and complete your enrollment in the system.
