Southern Oregon Media Group has created the following message categories for you to choose from to get updates as text messages on your wireless device.

• Breaking news - Mail Tribune - Get breaking news and emergency alert information for the Medford area and around the nation. Available weekdays.
• Breaking news - Ashland Daily Tidings- Get breaking news and emergency alert information for the Ashland area from the Daily Tidings newsroom.
• Severe weather alerts- Severe weather advisories and warnings are sent directly 24 hours a day, seven days a week by the National Weather Service. (Please note: all Weather advisories are subject to a quiet time between 11:00 PM and 5:00 AM during which time all messages will be queued and delivered when the quiet time ends. Severe weather warnings are not subject to this quiet time and will be delivered when issued by the National Weather Service.)
• Local Deals - Get alerts about local deals and specials sent as a text message.

Step 1: Sign-Up - Test Your Phone

In Step 2 of the sign up process, a personal authorization code will be sent to your mobile phone or email address. You will need to enter the 5-digit code in the next screen within (5) minutes in order to verify and complete your enrollment in the system. Do not navigate away from that screen until your enrollment is complete.
